Joshua Wilson


Joshua has served in multiple executive and executive advisory roles within Wealth Management.

As a Chief Investment Officer, Joshua specialized in the use of options, and hedging strategies in collaboration with high-net-worth individuals and institutions.

As Chief Executive Officer, he led the turnaround of a regional RIA that led to a successful acquisition by a major national acquirer. He has served as an advisor or consultant to Registered Investment Advisory firms, and investment funds, and is currently a Partner and Advisor to Acruence Capital.

He has been ranked by Forbes as one of the top advisors in Texas and one of the leading “Next Generation” wealth advisors in America.

Speaking at prominent advisor and family office conferences on topics ranging from volatility as an asset class to the shortcomings of Modern Portfolio Theory, Joshua has a knack for blending the complexities of his formal education with the charm of having grown up the son of a minister on a farm in rural Alabama.

Joshua holds degrees from Brown University (BA) and Salve Regina University (MS). He is a 2023 Ph.D. candidate at Oklahoma State University with a research interest in Finance & Entrepreneurship. He is a Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) credential holder, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF) credential holder.

His favorite hobby is singing everything from 90’s rock to Texas country as he plays acoustic guitar. To relax, he enjoys football with family and taking his Beagle, Pippa on long walks in the park.
