Local Leaders Improving Quality of Life
By Brian DeLucia
It is encouraging to hear about the reduction of the death rate over the past year in the U.S.
There is a long way to go, but the reduction of exposure to second hand smoke and improving air quality over the past several years across the country thanks to local leaders has been the foundation towards making a difference. Our society has also spent more time focused on better nutrition and exercise during the past decade as well.
However, as I said, we have a long way to go. We have to address the reduction of chemicals in our foods, addressed the dangers of vaping, and the opioid crisis.
I believe in us as a society to make this process in the coming years ahead.
